Those of us that use KDE don't necessarily broadcast it
- LastMuel 2y agoWhy? KDE is awesome.
- tmtvl 2y agoNo, KDE is KDE. Awesome is awesome. You can use awesome as the window manager for KDE (I have in the past), but you can do that with GNOME, Xfce, or LXQt as well.
- greenavocado 2y agoToo busy building
- artursapek 2y agoYet you’re here
- skyyler 2y agoToo busy to discuss your preferences. Not busy enough to not discuss your being too busy to discuss your preferences on internet forums. I'm not trying to be mean here, I'm just fascinated by what people will consider to be a waste of time.
- greenavocado 2y agoEvangelizing KDE is not something I care about
- skyyler 2y agoHm. It seems like you care about it at least a little, otherwise why would this thread exist? It's okay to care about things.
- Suppafly 2y ago>Evangelizing KDE is not something I care about This, sometimes it's enough for things to just work as you expect so you can do your actual work. I don't really understand why so many people are unpaid part time evangelizers.
- shashashank 2y agoI'm a recent convert from Gnome. Mostly cause Gnome seemed to have too many mysterious crashes—waking from sleep, switching between windows when video was playing—so much so that it was just easier to switch to something modern (as opposed to sway/i3) and not have to learn/rewrite keybindings.
