Swiss admit to secretly posting AI-penned posts to Reddit in the name of science
- palata 2y agoSo when Meta runs studies on their users, it's not ethical, but when it comes from a University it's okay? What about LLMs now? Is it ethical for OpenAI to run studies in ChatGPT, "for science"?
- z_open 2y agoreddit has become unusable with the bots. It's really a shame to see now even universities doing it. I think in the future we will have to find a way to verify if users or posts are real. Otherwise it will end up being dystopian wasteland.
