I have been long time user of 1and1 for domains. Their initial product offering is always sweet (free, 1$ domains) etc. Their renew rates are not bad as well.

I have been long time user of 1and1 for domains. Their initial product offering is always sweet (free, 1$ domains) etc. Their renew rates are not bad as well. But the place where I hated them most was NS change propogation, it took 24 hours to get that done. Also their admin panel is awfully slow.
