This is a large part of why surveying is done to landmarks.
- pugworthy 1y agoThis is exactly what I was thinking. Except for a tectonic fault line between the point and the landmark, a relative grid of neighboring landmarks as extra reference would be useful as well. Once you establish a location of one point, it gets easier to establish the location of related points.
