If a kid is consuming media they are being manipulated by external algorithms. If they are creating it, they are developing their own algorithms. So limit and curate consumption and reward production.
- matthewsinclair 2y agoThat's a great point. But I think it's orthogonal to the one I was making in the post. Regardless of whether we encourage content creation over consumption, I think it's even more important for the service to have an underlying human identity associated with that content.
