I imagine a significant pot hole might be enough to damage the skin. I understand the need to be light and aerodynamic so that it is flight-worthy, but this looks more like a toy then a real solution. It reminds me of those cars that can also perform as a boat -- they do neither well, their remarkable feature is that they do both.
