I second this. I'm using JSONL to bake in the data for my single binary Finnish to English pocket dictionary ( https://github.com/hiAndrewQuinn/tsk https://github.com/hiAndrewQuinn/tsk ). It just makes things like data transformations so easy, especially with jq.
