I used to be a big fan of cmv. But after a few years of actively using it I've completely stopped posting there or even browsing. Mostly because the majority of topics are already talked to death. The mods do a pretty good job considering the size of that sub, but there is only so much they can do. While I stopped going there before chatGPT4 was released, the rise of AI bots makes it even less likely that I would return. I do still love the concept though. I think it could be really cool to see such a forum in real life.
