    Speaking of, I had my tonsils and adenoids removed as a child due to chronic ear infections. What's up with those things?!

  I once read that wisdom teeth don't fit anymore only because we use forks and knives now. Previously we would tear our food with our teeth, always widening our pallet. I couldn't find the source just now (in the 30 seconds I searched for it), but I always thought it was an interesting idea.
