One of my friends vibe coded their way to a custom web email client that does essentially what the article is talking about, but with automatic context retrieval and and more sales oriented with some pseudo-CRM functionality. Massive productivity boost for him. It took him about a day to build the initial version. It baffles me how badly massive companies like Microsoft, Google, Apple etc are integrating AI into their products. I was excited about Gemini in Google sheets until I played around with it and realized it was barely usable (it specifically can’t do pivot tables for some reason? that was the first thing I tried it with lol).
