There are exactly zero people in the video game industry working on speculative AVP games. The ones who are thinking about it are not hesitating due to Godot support.
- karmakaze 2y agoThat's the situation now. It will be different when Godot is supported and the Apple Vision Air is released. Then anyone making VR games/apps will have a new target using standard (though less popular than Unity/UE5) development tooling. It will self-select those who find this reasonable.
- doctorpangloss 2y agoApple Vision Air will be a fart in the wind. There are 1/10th-1/100th as many Godot developers as Unity and Unreal developers. If there are no games now, there won't be with Godot support. That said I want Godot AVP support to succeed, but there are other problems all in Apple's court.
