It's all a little unconvincing when the US is enslaving people in foreign prisons at the whim of a president.
The question isn't whether UK society is the freest imaginable -- but at the moment, it is very plausibly, the freest on the earth.
- inemesitaffia 2y agoNo country is free if you can't defend yourself and others without worry of legal repercussions. That's not true of the UK. Especially Scotland. Freest in the world my big arse. There's places in the world where slaves are openly traded today. I'll give you a clue. They tend to support Hamas.
