Because I (the author) enjoy the experience of writing text a lot more than writing "function" over and over again. I see writing as a final step of the learning process, so I'm mostly writing for myself here as my own proof that I did indeed learn something, but obviously hope others read it and can find value as well. I have also tried to generate blog posts in my own writing style/voice/tone, and they are unilaterally pretty bad.

It is bad code and it takes longer to fix it than just do it properly myself. Isn't that amusing? Left brained who enjoy writing and drawing can appreciate generated code but find AI inadquate for writing and drawing. Meanwhile, right brained people can appreciate it for generating writing and drawing, but find it inadequate for code. I guess to truly appreciate AI for both requires being no brained ;-)
