(a)(1) is a misdemeanor, not a felony.

- Aloisius 2y agoIt doesn't look like it is: > (b)(1) A person who commits computer tampering as set forth in subdivision (a)(1) or (a)(5) or subsection (a-5) of this Section is guilty of a Class B misdemeanor. Repeat offenses for (a)(2) is a felony though. And (a)(3) and (a)(4) are felonies.
