There was an interesting study earlier this week that is essential to this discussion. I'm afraid I don't have the link but the gist was that most couples do ultimately want and have children. Slightly too less for population replacement but still. However, the far more alarming issue is the lack of couples. Couple forming is falling off a cliff.
