Apparently you and I have very different definitions of "out of the box". The link you give explicitly requires installing and configuring a fastcgi wrapper script distinct from gitweb.
- reidrac 14y agoFastCGI is supported by gitweb, you need to install the dependencies and use a command line flag + env variable (that I think it's required by the module that implements the FastCGI bits).
