Sure, the depth of the content is not as good as other forums, but a peripheral point I think the article was trying to make was that the accessibility of such resources is what makes it so revolutionary. I'm an avid reader of r/fitness and one of the things that makes it so appealing it me is how much of the advice relates to me, an average guy who spends much of his time on the internet.
