A welcome change if it gives some vendors a kick up the behind to implement ACME.
- ShakataGaNai 1y agoThere is no more choice. No one is going to buy from (example) GoDaddy if they have to login every 30 days to manually get a new certificate. Not when they can go to (example) digicert and it's all automatic. It goes from a "rather nice to have" to "effectively mandatory".
- jonathantf2 1y agoI think GoDaddy supports ACME - but if you're using ACME you might as well use Let's Encrypt and stop paying for it.
- schlauerfox 1y agoDepends on the kind of certificate you need.
