Most trans people that I know don't trust doctors and that's for a good reason. The average trans person tends to be more educated about our healthcare compared to the average doctor. Not to mention the gatekeeping and outright maliciousness.
- voidUpdate 2y agoI personally don't distrust doctors, I'm just depressed at the complete lack of support I've received from them. I've been on a waiting list to have a first appointment about being trans for like 2 years now, I gave up and started sourcing my own medication nearly a year ago now
