I dont understand. Common people buy into credit card debt because its easy. Interest rates be damned. Supreme court of India stayed earlier decision of another authority to impose cap of interest rate at 36% saying free market. This might be true for institutions and governments but many people dont decide to save if interest goes from 8 to 8.5%
