I experienced the uk system briefly and it seemed decent for the simple thing I needed: wait for the NHS or pay a modest fee for private service. The price of private service is bounded by the fact that you can wait for the NHS.
- candiddevmike 2y agoIMO, this should be the model for everything folks depend on (including internet, shelter). Pay to get it faster/better, otherwise the government provides a good enough service that private companies must compete with.
