Some legit writers actually use the em dash — how else would it end up in the training data?
- apothegm 1y agoPlenty of people type the double-dash in its place —- and many autocorrect tools will just replace that with a proper em-dash character. Apparently the way I was taught to write is how LLMs write. I’m really not looking forward to my humanity being denied on a regular basis as a result.
