- carlmr 2y agoBTW a lot of photoshop effects are implemented just like this. A blur filter on an image is a low-pass-filters, the high frequencies that it blurs out are the details you see. A sharpening filter does the opposite, it boosts the high frequencies. Signal processing is funny that way.
