Yeah I would never give a cent to some Swiss watch company. The only luxury watches I see actually worth their price tag are those made by independent watchmakers like Masahiro Kikuno. I watched a documentary[0] back in the day that goes over his process of designing and making a watch and it's nothing short of amazing. There's something about swiss watches being so commoditized (even the most expensive ones) that makes their clientele seem outright stupid in my opinion. 0.
