Any idea what it could be for LA or nearby residents? For Chicago, or IL residents in general - their home insurance just doubled. If you try to shop - the new quotes are at least tripled. Not sure why? There are no natural calamities here.
- howard941 2y agoNo idea. The insurance companies down here are very small and almost all of them are Florida-only.
- peterbecich 2y agoHave you checked the FEMA Flood Map? https://www.fema.gov/flood-maps https://www.fema.gov/flood-maps A.f.a.i.k. it is part of the calculation.
