Usually, it's the wealthy that tend to leave and depopulation tends to increase "blight" and crime.
But I had no idea the population declined so much, that puts other observations about SF into context.
- hello_computer 1y agoThe very wealthy and the very poor two sides of the same coin. Where there is one, the other is sure to be found. My personal experience has been that the wealthy horde more property than they can lease or employ. Hobos find and fill these empty nooks and crevices like water.
