- 1970-01-01 2y agoThe Helene strip from FL to WV is very interesting. I would not buy a home in the south without having significant backup power to survive the new normal of continuous onslaught of weather disasters.
- quickthrowman 2y agoBest option for a residence is probably a propane generator with a massive LP tank, or a diesel generator with a massive day tank.
- 1970-01-01 2y agoSolar with lots of battery backup is also an option, especially if power can be bidirectional to offset power bills and the initial installation costs.
