- bradac56 2y agoThat's easy it's called a burner phone. I'm a US citizen and I know if your whiten 100 miles of a international border the Border Patrol can take your phone and clone it legally without a warrant. Burner phone + just a couple phone numbers for family at home + Session. That's how I travel anywhere.
- eimrine 2y agoCan they do it to Nokia E-series? They say the encryption here is rather strong.
- bradac56 2y agoNokia hasn't made an Eseries phone since 2011 and Symbian OS hasn't been updated in a long time it also has no real app store. While that helps I wouldn't pretend that makes it's encryption all that great it's old. They can clone the OS, stick it in a FBI database and break it anytime they decide it's worth going after. The best defense is just don't take your personal phone anywhere near a 5-eyes border patrol area. This isn't just about the USA, it's even easier to take your phone in a western EU nation than here.
