Quantum Mpemba effect appears in a real experimental system
- 1970-01-01 2y ago>a fundamental characteristic of the quantum sME is that its relaxation path includes the so-called Liouvillian exceptional point (LEP). At this point, an eigenvalue of the dynamical generator, which is the Liovillian superoperator that describes the time evolution of the open quantum system through the Lindblad master equation, changes from real to complex. When the eigenvalue of the SDM is real, the system is successfully prepared in the sME. When the eigenvalue of the SDM acquires an imaginary part, the overlap between the prepared sME state and the SDM is no longer zero. The LEP therefore signals the transition from strong to weak Mpemba effect. Is this the turbo encabulator effect in action?

From the abstract: Since the Liouvillian exceptional points widely exist in quantum systems such as the atomic vapors, superconducting qubits, and ultracold ions and atoms, they have received increasing amount of attention of late. Here, we present a brief review on an important aspect of the dynamic consequence of Liouvillian exceptional points, namely the chiral state transfer induced by the parametric encircling the Liouvillian exceptional points. That said this is way too far into the quantum weeds for me to grasp. [1]: https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s43673-024-00129-3 https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s43673-024-00129-3
