I don't get it really, you'd think that with aging populations, western countries would be desperate for young, able-bodied immigrants that will work and keep their social welfare systems viable, but it seems like it's the opposite.
- mrguyorama 2y agoGrandma's generation was the same one that filled in their community pool with concrete rather than share it with black kids. Grandma's generation shut down schools, clubs, community events, parks, etc, rather than share those things with black kids. "Cut your nose to spite the brown kids" has kind of been their consistent position their entire lives.
