I guess we're going to have to reach another peak of outrage to experience the walk back to a worse than before but not as awful as the present. It's their MO. Put a knife to the throat, then in the end spare their lives but rumple them up a bit. The problem here is no matter what illusions we harbor we all still have to deal with carbs and atherosclerosis, cancer, tsunamis, wind shear, chemicals and atoms, that stuff isn't going to magically not be important and certainly not going to research itself. It boggles the mind.
