Brexit was a terrible idea sold to the public on the back of a litteny of lies (where's that £350m/wk I was promised would go to the NHS?), and caused us to put a shotgun to our economic and travel kneecaps and gleefully pull the damned trigger. The OSB is also a terrible idea sold to MPs on the back of a litteny of lies (just because you "broke" encryption for a popular application or service (see: Apple(?)) doesn't mean that real criminals/terrorists won't just use PGP and their own keys), and caused us to put a shotgun to our privacy and security kneecaps and gleefully pull the damned trigger.
