While I'm not opposed to studies like this, we won't ever really know the impact until a country creates a permanent UBI for realsies (even then, it'll probably be a while until the true impact is known). Being in a temporary study is simply not the same thing as feeling that you could just never have a career ever and still be financially okay. This may sound like I'm opposed to a UBI, but actually I think getting one eventually would be rad. I just don't think we can easily extrapolate out from a study like this.
