If somebody offered me 1200 GBP a month, tax free, no strings attached, guaranteed for the rest of my life, there is no way I would continue working for somebody else. I would tinker around with open source and pet projects for the rest of my life. That's almost twice the aged pension here in Australia. (550 GBP) I guess I would also need some iron clad guarantee that the cost of living would not skyrocket.
