We need to get serious about wealth taxes. The amount of money locked up in assets and land is staggering and has been under taxed for far too long.
- y-curious 2y agoI agree with the sentiment, but it matters very much how it's implemented. You would need to find a way to keep the money in your country, while also taxing more. It's actually very complicated, but yes, I agree with the notion.
- HPsquared 2y agoSaid assets and land are already being used though. It's just a case of people wanting to "redistribute" them.
