Very fun post! If folks haven't seen it, Knuth's latest release looks at constraint satisfaction. Really fun discussion on the relations between different ways to model this sort of problem. Happy to add this book to my list! I would also challenge the author to consider puzzles a bit more. Sprinkling fun into the topics goes a long way. Specifically, do both! Talk about how you can reframe a "real world" problem in terms of some puzzles we may have played as kids. Invite us to play more as adults.
