I use (and pay for) Kagi. Even without much customization (lenses, scoring, etc) it's so much better (for my use cases) I happily pay for it. Recently I have also started to use Perplexity more for "research for a few minutes and get back to me" type of things. Queries like "what was that Python package for X" I usually ask an AI right from my editor, or ChatGPT if I'm in the browser already.
