the article is pitching this as a concern/bad thing, but since they called out Meta specifically, I’d counter it. Meta wouldn’t be Meta without Zuckerberg having full control. It’d still be called Facebook and their entire existence would be showing more ads and less relevant content to a dwindling audience. Definitely no metaverse and maybe not even a player in the AI race.
