Stronger pour-over coffee with no extra beans unlocked by scientists

- doublerabbit 2y agoMy method has always been pour half of your amount of ground coffee in to the cafetière, fill it water so it just covers the layer of grounds, leave it to settle then pour the other half of grounds over the wet half let that to settle for a few minutes, longer the settle stronger the coffee gets. Then when ready pour the remaining water over the grounds. Leave the plunger up and leave it to cool before pouring. Another tip is that boiling water can scald the grounds resulting in not so nice coffee. So boil the water and leave it to cool for a few minutes. A couple spoons of honey instead of sugar works nicely as a treat too; especially if you get luxury honey. Add a chewy cookie to the mix and you have my bribe.
