The pricing section is cute, but it made me launch a calculator to figure out how much I'd pay. .001*10000 = $10/month

- codegeek 14y agoI agree. Why not keep it simple and say "10/mo for additional 10000 users".
- zoneinfinite 14y agoIt's all about marketing. "$0.001 per user" looks a lot more attractive and cheaper than "$10 per 10000 users".
- codegeek 14y agoInteresting take. But as a user, you are making me do an extra step because ultimately, we all want to know how much total ? I dont care if you charge 0.0000001 per user. I want to know whats the "grand total" that my wallet has to come up with.
- agotterer 14y agoBut doesn't that depend on how many users you add? Would you rather pay $10 for up to 10k users, regardless if you have that many or a few cents as you work your way there? I like the pay as you go pricing model over flat rate. Reminds me of amazon.
- nollidge 14y agoIt may or it may not. A/B testing to the rescue?
- ipince 14y agoI agree. Making me think about how much I'd have to pay made me think negatively about the service. Plus, it is unclear too. It says Traction package is for additional users, so my expectation is that it would be $9/Mo, not $10.
- nostromo 14y agoThat's correct, it'd be $9 for 10,000 accounts. Thanks for the feedback all -- we're probably going to throw in a calculator for people who want a quick and easy answer about pricing for their service.
- woloski 14y agoI am curious, what were the drivers for this pricing instead of plain fixed price?
