37signals is hiring a junior dev
- 0xEF 2y agoIt's really nice to finally see a job opening that I almost qualify for. The description points out that they are looking for someone relatively new to development . If any other HN readers are like me and typically gloss over the job postings on here, don't skip this one. Looks like a great opportunity for a fresh dev and I can only hope that one like this exists when I am ready.
- geenat 2y agoProbably not real. What's the logic behind bringing in a junior at 145k?
- re-thc 2y ago> What's the logic behind bringing in a junior at 145k? That the senior is at 202k? What logic do you need?
- wraaath 2y agoI recruited for a late stage pre-ipo unicorn after COVID. On the cash portion of compensation - 145k was the suggested starting negotiation point for a fresh out of college engineering candidate at offer stage. For that level, we'd go as high as a one-time additional 22k on signing with equity at 225k in RSU's (/4 year vest).
