I found they did have bins, but they were either at the vending machine or in the entrance of any store. And there are a lot of convenience stores!

I found they did have bins, but they were either at the vending machine or in the entrance of any store. And there are a lot of convenience stores!
- klausa 1y agoThe bins near vending machines are almost always _only_ for cans/plastic bottles. That accounts for ~80% of the garbage you'll produce, but sometimes you'll have a onigiri wrapper, or a dirty tissue that'd be nice to get rid of, and finding a place to do that can be more difficult (ironically, especially so in heavily touristy areas).
- JimTheMan 1y agoCompletely agree. More trying to highlight where you can find them, as many people are just stumped as there's nothing outside.
