- deleted 2y ago[deleted]
- toomuchtodo 2y agoThey are potentially attempting to create surplus labor by destroying federal employment, due to the tight labor market caused by structural demographics. Demographic stats: ~2M in the US 55+ die every year, ~5k per day. ~4M Boomers retire per year, ~11k per day. A healthy economy creates ~2M jobs/year. - hkpack 2y agoI feel that I am usually very good in systems thinking, but it looks like what this administration is doing is much more close to vibe governing. When I hear about reasons for any decision, the second or third order effects are never mentioned or even considered, however emotions are always through the roof. Even Peter Navarro said that his duty is to justify the Trumps economic intuition. Musk is destroying woke virus and “increasing efficiency like in a business”. They show zero systems understanding.
- toomuchtodo 2y agoNo, I agree. We’re thinking in systems, they are not.
