This is over my head I guess...the paradox is people are lazy?

  The kitchen counter is full of dishes, but the dishwasher has some free space. My point is, that people assume that there are dishes on the counter thus dishwasher has to be full.

    Maybe some people assume the dishwasher is full, but some people are too lazy to check, and others are just copying everyone else. Ironic that you make assumptions in a post about people making assumptions.
