It should be noted that Daniel Lacalle is a known contrarian and polarizing economist who has made a career of not aligning with the consensus view of economists. His work may be entertaining and offer interesting insights, but I wouldn't take it as gospel truth.

It is very likely that the alleged impact of tariffs will be quickly forgotten as negotiations conclude and trade imbalances are resolved - Daniel Lacalle That's enough to not care about this guy or give him any attention at all. Attention legitimizes. Even my comment contributes to legitimization. Flag, remember who posted it and understand that they are very poorly informed, and move on.
