People keep taking this echochamber idea to insane conclusions. But it doesn't seem borne out in reality.
- JumpCrisscross 2y agoYeah, the idea that you can buy an election outcome should have died with Jeb Bush. Like most conspiracy theories, it’s delightfully simplifying compared to the mental morass of filtering through why a candidate was popular. (Money plays a role in politics, but most in respect of enabling a challenger to gain name recognition.)
