I use AI as my editor. I provide the AI with my own prose and indicate the tone I'd like to use, then I take the result and put it back into my own voice. Sometimes I'll take that second edit and resubmit it to the AI and again, take the result and put it back into my own voice. To me, AI is an editor, a tool I use to help improve my writing. Like an actual editor, sometimes the AI comes back with that I successfully captured what I'm trying to say, and no changes need to be made.
