Here's the key text from Kennedy's post on X:
"I also visited with these two extraordinary healers, Dr. Richard Bartlett and Dr. Ben Edwards who have treated and healed some 300 measles-stricken Mennonite children using aerosolized budesonide and clarithromycin."
Antibiotics and steroid drugs DO NOT heal measles.
- gus_massa 2y agoCan budesonide reduce the symptoms? I don't claim it's a good idea, but probably adding a pill of Paracetamol and another of Ibuprofen to any quackery will reduce the temperature and ache in spite it will not improving other important statistics like mortality. If whatever they are doing reduce the symptoms, it may confuse people and make it look like they are doing something useful.
- amluto 2y agoAside from this nonsense, being “healed” after measles is relative. Measles causes immune suppression for at least a couple years. And then there’s this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subacute_sclerosing_panencephalitis https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subacute_sclerosing_panencep... On the bright side, most likely none of those 300 kids will end up developing SSPE.
