*AI AGENTS* for the next-gen traveltech (with superpowers)
- azburillo 2y agoRethinking business travel with community in mind Hey HN, We’ve been quietly building something that we think touches a pain many teams (including ours) have felt: business travel is broken. The tools feel dated, expense management is a chore, and even with all the talk of AI, most platforms just add a chatbot on top and call it a day. We’re working on Suitpax, a new approach to corporate travel software—designed from day one to be AI-native and modular. Our vision: a travel stack that combines autonomous AI travel agents, intelligent expense handling, and VIP-level travel support, but built like a developer product—composable, secure, and scalable. Some things we’re experimenting with: AI Travel Agents that go beyond recommendations. They act on your behalf: booking, rebooking, optimizing itineraries based on company policy, personal preferences, or budget. Expense Automation that actually works: no more manual receipt uploads, no more back-and-forth with finance. Everything is tracked, parsed, and reported in real time. Enterprise-ready by default, with clean APIs, user permission layers, and modular integration with tools like Notion, Ramp, or Slack. Under the hood, we’re using a mix of multi-agent orchestration, vector-aware context memory for preferences, and a privacy-first architecture. We’re also testing out some interesting coordination between AI + human fallback systems for handling edge cases (flight delays, concierge requests, etc). This isn’t a launch yet—we’re still early. But we’d love feedback from this community, especially those who’ve built or scaled SaaS, dealt with travel ops pain, or are exploring autonomous agents in production systems. We’re hacking this because we genuinely believe corporate travel should feel as modern as the rest of your stack. If anyone’s curious, we’d be happy to share more and open up early access. - azburillo 2y agoWe’re just getting started, but would love to hear feedback! Our goal is to make AI agents that can handle the complexity of business travel—booking, expenses, VIP airport services—without the usual manual steps. If you're into AI, SaaS, or just love building stuff, it would be amazing to collaborate and hear your thoughts.
