SciOp torrents: download, seed erased US Gov sites and datasets
- 1over137 2y agoIs this legit? Weird filenames on some of them.
- WarOnPrivacy 2y agoYes. I'm seeding about 30TB. I've dug into it and it's as advertised.
- toomuchtodo 2y agoIs there a torrent file containing all of these torrent files?
- WarOnPrivacy 2y agoMore torrents are added, most days. That might preclude the a master torrent. That and the sheer size.
- spiritplumber 2y agowhat's a good thing to run on a headless raspi for this?
- madphilosopher 2y agoInstall the transmission-daemon and transmission-cli packages, and control the daemon with the transmission-remote command (from the latter package).

- vivzkestrel 2y agothe sorting buttons on that table dont work
- gyudin 2y agoNah, thanks lol. Not gonna risk seeding something unverified oO
- bolognafairy 2y ago…what? I’d be keen to know what “verified torrents” pass your extensive checks. Literal Linux ISOs.
- countWSS 2y agoWhats the most important torrents? I could in theory download some, but i have limited space.
- redrove 2y agoWhich one of those is pubmed? It’s the one I’m most interested in but I couldn’t find it through the search function.
- Alifatisk 2y agoWhich ones is worth seeding? Any interesting?

- thrwaway438 2y agoThe best way to preserve the [more] endangered datasets is to use the RSS feeds. They have them split-out for various focuses like scarcity, source, threat level, etc. I went with the "all" feed and filtered in my download client.
